FAQ
What's an event?
An event is a pageview, MCP call, or agentic commerce interaction. Known Agents needs to process pageviews from both people and agents to distinguish between them. You can see your event usage in your project settings page and your account page.
How do I know how many events I need?
Agents make up about half of all website traffic. Start by doubling your human monthly visit count, then add your expected MCP calls and agentic commerce interactions. For example, if you see 200,000 monthly visits in Google Analytics, start with an estimate of 400,000 Known Agents events before adding those interactions.
What happens if I exceed my monthy event count?
The free plan has a hard limit. For the paid plans, we'll reach out over email and ask you to upgrade to the next tier if you're quickly approaching or consistently exceeding the limit of your current plan.
