Getting Started

Start by connecting your website traffic. Then add any agent-facing interfaces you operate and the traffic controls your website needs.

What Should You Connect?

If you have... Follow this setup guide
A website Track Pageviews
A REST API used by agents Track API Calls
An MCP server Track API Calls
An agentic commerce integration Track API Calls
A crawler policy Serve an Automatic Robots.txt
Request-time access controls Identify & Verify Agents
Malicious or unidentified bot traffic Block Bad Bots

Step 1: Create a Project

Sign up, create a project for your website, then return to this guide.

Step 2: Connect Pageview Analytics

Begin by tracking pageviews to see which agents and bots visit your website, which pages they access, and which AI platforms refer human visitors. You can usually connect the existing request logs from your platform, CDN, or web server instead of adding custom tracking code.

Step 3: Connect API Call Analytics

If agents interact with your product through an API, start tracking those calls too, including REST API calls, MCP tool calls, and agentic commerce protocol interactions using ACP or UCP. This adds visibility into usage, operations, errors, and response times.

Step 4: Control Bot Access

You can use either or both layers of control: publish rules for cooperative crawlers, and actively enforce which requests your website accepts.
